    When you're faulty (or cannot identify the faulty): Your responsibility (excess) is only up to the deposit amount. Example: when you damage a tire, then get charged only for a new tire. In case of bigger damages - exceeding deposit - you won't pay anything more than deposit.

    Bonus: Do you have a premium card, like American Express or Golden/Platinum Visa and MasterCard? Highly possible, their insurance covers even the excess in case of any charge. We're registered as an approved car rental company for these insurers.
